Cairns Dive Centre

Cairns Dive Centre is one of the largest certifying agencies in the world. Learn to dive courses commence daily in their training facility, which includes an air-conditioned classroom and a heated, 4 metre deep training pool. Study materials and exams are available in various foreign languages.

CDC offers a variety of SSI scuba diving courses: 4 day Budget Open Water, 4 or 5 day Open Water live-aboard, 6 day Open Water/Advanced, as well as specialty courses such as 3 day Advanced, Rescue Diver, Dive Master and Instructor training courses.

All instruction is provided by experienced highly trained instructors. Daily transfers to and from Njoy! are included for each course. Meals are not provided during your dive training, however it is possible for you to take your own, or have the instructors order lunch to be delivered at your expense. Your day trips to the reef (Budget Course) include morning tea, buffet lunch and afternoon tea and all dive equipment. The live-aboard courses include all meals and accommodation on board CDC’s comfortable live-aboard vessel, the M.V. Kangaroo Explorer.
